The journey of the rich green gem to a jewel
The rich green emerald is surrounded by rose cut diamonds and pearls held by gold petals.
The artisan, master craftsman in jadau jewellery from Jaipur, makes conical sockets in silver for the rose cut diamonds, enhancing their lustre and glitter
The gold petals are assembled on wax by master craftsmen from Calcutta, gypsum is poured on it and allowed to solidify. Later heated to separate the piece from wax. Now the piece is soldered, ready for polish and the final setting of diamonds.
Finally the acharis from Bangalore, specialised in setting pearls, show their mastery.
